currently I´m dealing with a BW safety belt problem. Because of the BW download connector within the Lumira a large query qould result into a safety belt issue.
My question now, would the universe (unx) connector work the same way like the BW connector or would it work in online mode like the HANA connectors? So maybe I could create a universe based on a BEx query...

I am new to SAP Lumira and want to create a calculated measure, that will do a count(Distinct) on one field, if another field has a certain field == 'some_value'.
Exemplary pseudocode: count(alert_ID) if alert_type == 'urgent'
Can anybody assist me with this?

I am using SAP Lumira 1.30, I have dimension and Wanted to sort but it’s not sorting as expected.
Column has Combined Number And Text data,
For ex: 1-Product A, 2-Product T, 3-Product H, 4-Product M, 5-Product N etc..
And when I Sort Dimension Ascending, its sorted like this:
1-Product A, 10-Product S, 12-Product LH, 1-Product A, 2-Product T, 3-Product H, 4-Product M, 5-Product N
How would I Sort this SAP Lumira?
Hey folks, we're very new to Lumira implementation and having some startup challenges. Our implementation partner is telling us certain things aren't supported or possible and yet I find it very hard to believe.
The use case is a Lumira story pulling data from a SQL 2008 database and published to the SAP BI Platform. We want consumers of the published story to be able to refresh the data without being prompted for login, but that doesn't seem to be possible. Can someone confirm this? Is it not possible to pass the current user identity over to the database? Or even use a service account on the back end without prompting the users on the front end?

We are currently using SAP BO 4.1 SP5 Patch1 on server level and going to use Lumira 1.22.
If i want to export Lmuira Dashboard to BO 4.1 then ow to do this.
Is lumira required separate server or Do we need to install any add on on our BO Server?

We are using SAP LUmira 1.19 . We are creating reports over Bex Queries.
We need to understand the maximum data holding capalibilty of Lumira. Also in a report in case of Tabular structure what is the maximum number of rows and coloums a report have. Keeping all the performnce Optimitaion into consideration.
Best Practices in case of SAP Lumira over Bex queries is highly appreciable.

Firstly here're the specs:
Windows Box info:
OS: MS Windows 8.1 Pro
RAM: 4GB
Architecture: x64 bit
Processor: Core i3 CPU @3.4GHz
Software Info:
DB: MySQL CE v5.6.23.0
Lumira:
Desktop: SAP Lumira Standard Edition 64bit v1.25.1 build 23 (running as 30 days trail mode)
Cloud: SAP Lumira Cloud Free Edition with 1GB storage
Edge: SAP Lumira Edge Server/Team Server/Server for Teams (running as 30 days trail mode with installed key for 5 users) build v1.25.0.15
All these installed on same machine.
I created a Data Set on Lumira Desktop(Standard Edition running on 30 days trail) from MySQL and exported the same to Lumira Edge.
When I alter my view on MySQL that's used for dataset creation, I'm able to see the updated result set on Lumira Desktop after hitting the refresh button.
Similarly, I tried clicking the 'Refresh Document' (not the 'Refresh' button on visualize mode) on Lumira Edge for the updated result set without re-exporting the data set and then issues started flowing.
Here're the list of errors I faced:
1. Unable to connect. Check your data access driver
- for this after RnD, I installed generic JDBC driver from Edit Drivers section since there's no option for MySQL connectivity.
2. Forbidden
- after installing driver and restarting server manually
3. SyntaxError: Unexpected token c
- after installing driver and restarting server manually
4. SyntaxError: Invalid character
- after installing driver and restarting server manually
5. Unable to see server info under Maintenance screen since the installation
6.Unable to restart server from 'Maintenance' screen (due to the above error 5)
- After installing driver
7. Restart failed from the 'Maintenance' screen
8. How do I access this server from different system over internet?
- Tried using the URL generated with 2 named users but not able to access via different system
PFA screenshots numbered accordingly to the issues.
Please help me out at earliest with any info, documents etc.,
Googled a lot and not able to find any relevant info.
There's lot of naming convention confusion happening all over the internet too.
Let me know any info needed further.

What I know is that all these tools are used to discover trends, outliers in huge amounts of data. But I would like to what is the difference between these applications?

Hi All,
I am connecting to SAP HANA using 'Connect to SAP HANA' option.
My HANA calculation view has a multiple value parameter say IP_INPUT.
To this parameter I am passing values say VALUE1 and VALUE2
When I pass multiple values to this parameter from Lumira, its fetching data only for the first parameter.
Lumira is not fetching values for both parameters.
Could you please suggest how I can pass multiple values to HANA parameter from Lumira?

Hi all,
The extension is one that I built in SAP Web IDE and is a calendar heat map. It looks like I am not able to attach the zip file for the extension or the .xls file so please message me and I can send that to you personally if you are able to help. It works in visualize however when I click on compose it just loops.
I am not sure why it loops, any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
