I have daily sales transactions which I want to analyse.
One of the angles I want to highlight is the Month - on Month comparison.
I can show the graphs for sales by month, but what would be more interesting is to show the difference between 'this month' and 'previous month'.
I've been trying to work this out but failed. I can create a new dimension using a calculation and time/date functions, (add month) but I don't see how that is going to help me.
When looking at the options to calculate a new measure I don't see anything that would help me to calculate M-o-M or Y-o-Y.
Is it possible to calculate monthly difference, monthly % increase, etcetera, in Lumira or should I do this outside Lumira in a different tool (my data is currently coming from Excel) and only use Lumira for visualization, not calculation?
