Hi Experts,

While connecting with my SAP BW production server I'm getting this error. Please help me to resolve it.

 

I'm using licensed version of SAP Lumira desktop,

 

 

 

Error:

Hi,
I'm facing some challenges in Integrating the Lumira chart into Dashboard.

This is what I'hve done:

1. I created a chart using Lumira desktop and deployed it into the Lumira Server.

2. Now, I Need the same chart to be integrated into the dash board.

 

Just checking these approaches to integrate

1. Share the URL to UI, so that directly UI can integrate it. But the format is unknown to us.

2. Checking other alternative for this.

 

Can any one provide approach and some inputs to finish this.

I want to create a New Dataset on top of BW,  when I try to connect BW i got this message:

We are running VI Lumira 1.0.11 (build 708) and SAP BI 4.0 SP4 Patch 6 (Explorer too). What version does BO Explorer have to be to publish?

Do you know how to get back all BW connections ?

Hello,

 

I would like to add a forecast with SAP Predictive Analysis to my SAP Lumira document, but it says that there is some conditions that may be fulfilled in order to do this.

 

• First condition is fulfilled. My char is a line chart.
• Second condition is fulfilled. I have a time hierarchy and I selected "month" in the X axis.
• Third condition is fulfilled. There is nothing in "Legend Color".

 

Why can't I add a forecast in my SAP Lumira Document?

I'm new to the system admin line of work but I managed to install Windows Server 2012 and Lumira Server Edge just fine. I opened some ports on the servers firewall and now can access the web-based interface just fine. However I find it difficult to connect my Lumira Desktop client to our Lumira Edge server. I'm sure I entered my username and password correctly. This is the error I get: "Unable to connect to the SAP Lumira Edge Server. Check your connection settings. (HDB 05506)". When I configured the Network parameters I left proxy empty as we don't use any proxies in our simple system. And the Edge Server connection string looks something like this "123.456.789.12:1234/sap/bi/launchpad". What else should be done on client side or server side to get this connection up and running.

 

If you have anymore questions about what I've done this far I'd be happy to answer.

Hi ,

I am able to access ESRI geomaps from Lumira with my ArcGIS online account.

I can see my companies STORES using lat\long data that we have on the Geo Maps.

 

But is there any way that i can see ESRI demographics data..?? i,e the Population,Income levels,Gender and many more..

 

The idea is to select\highlight a STORE on the map and see all these demographic details where we have on ESRI online.

Hello All,

 

We have deployed Lumira Server for BI Enterprise and wanted to have users use Lumira Desktop and publish the story board in BI Launch pad.

 

For end user to publish to BI Launch pad we want them to use their AD authentication (this is how they log in to BI Launch pad).

 

Does anyone know what needs to be configured to enable Win AD authentication for Lumira Desktop.

I have number of people in US by state by age available as columns. My data has following columns.

e.g. State/ age 0-18/ age 19-65/ age 65+

 

I want to create an age dimension that will let me drill down to this data using SAP Lumira. I initially want to show number of people by state and then allow user to drilldown to each state and get to drilldown by age.

 

How can I accomplish this task ? I have looked at calculated dimension but there is no option to create a dimension from data in multiple columns.

Dear All,

 

I have recently download SAP Lumira 30 Days Trial Version.

 

After successfully installation, when I start SAP Lumira, it is asking for Key Code, I do not receive any key code in my mail account.

 

I think if we are using 30 days trial version then it will not ask any key for at least 30 days.

 

Please guide me for the same.

 

Also informing that,

 

Earlier I have installed SAP Visual Intelligence, before installing SAP Lumira I have uninstalled SAP VI.

 

Need your help.

 

Also request to moderators to consider this discussion, so that if key code is required then they will provide me.

Hi everybody,

 

I just installed SAP Lumira, Server for BI platform. Now, when I am trying to publish a dataset I get the error message "Unable to retrieve datasets Error retrieving dataset information from the SAP BI platform repository. {0} (HDB 05412)"

 

When I am trying to publish a Story I get the error message "Not Found (RWS 00005)"

 

Can anybody help.

We encountered one strange issue for SAP Lumira Desktop

 

One of our users installed 1.25.1 and everything is working fine

 

Then today, when she tried to open it, the application crushed directly

 

Would you kindly let me know what's the possible reason?

hello,

 

i'd like to know if there is a way manually or using a function that will convert a numeric month  to text. for example if the month field has numbers 1 to 12, i want to display january if month field = 1, etc.

I am currently trying to migrate some analytics from MicroStrategy Express to Lumira Cloud. I previously displayed the MicroStrategy Analytics in an HTML iFrame on a website that linked to the URL of MicroStrategy's Express cloud service.

I need to display my Lumira Cloud story similarly, in an HTML iFrame on a website.  It works fine in Firefox, but not in Internet Explorer 11.

 

Only a blank page displays, as a result of errors within the frame from the Lumira URL such as "Object doesn't support property our method 'map'.

 

All my clients use Internet Explorer, not Firefox.  Does anyone have any ideas please? Thank you.
